Air Fryer Hot Dogs
The easiest air fryer recipe ever. Hot dogs come out with a perfectly snappy, grilled texture — slightly charred outside, juicy inside. Better than boiled, faster than grilling. Kids love them.
- 4-8 hot dogs (any brand)
- Hot dog buns
- Condiments: ketchup, mustard, relish, onions
- Optional: cheese, chili, sauerkraut
- Place hot dogs directly in air fryer basket.
- No oil needed — the casing has enough fat.
- Cook at 400°F for 5-6 minutes.
- For charred/split skin: cook 7-8 minutes.
- Toast buns in air fryer for 1-2 minutes (optional).
- Load with your favorite toppings.
- For cheese dogs: add cheese last 1 minute.
- For chili dogs: top with warm chili after cooking.
