Air Fryer Asparagus
Perfectly roasted asparagus in 7 minutes. Tender-crisp with charred tips and bright green color. The simplest, most elegant vegetable side dish.
- 1 bunch asparagus trimmed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Salt and pepper
- Lemon zest
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Snap off woody ends of asparagus (they break naturally at the right spot).
- Toss with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange in single layer in basket.
- Cook at 400°F for 5-7 minutes (thin spears: 5 min, thick: 7 min).
- Tips should be slightly charred.
- Finish with lemon zest and parmesan.
- Serve immediately — asparagus gets mushy if it sits.
