With the right temperature and time settings, you can enjoy this delicious treat in no time.

To start, preheat your Airfryer to 356 ºF, and while it’s warming up, you have two options for marinating and seasoning your Pancetta:

Ingredients:

  • Pancetta slices (about 12 slices)
  • Option 1 (Marinade):
    • 1/2 cup white wine
    • 2 tablespoons of fresh herbs (such as parsley or cilantro), finely chopped
    • 1/4 cup each of red and green bell peppers, minced
    • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Option 2 (Lemon Seasoning):
    • 2 fresh lemons
    • Salt and pepper to taste

These quantities should be sufficient to serve 4 people. Enjoy your delicious Pancetta made in the Airfryer!

Option 1: Marinating with White Wine, Herbs, and Peppers

  • In a bowl, prepare a marinade by mixing white wine, finely chopped herbs (such as parsley or cilantro), and minced red and green bell peppers.
  • Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Submerge the Pancetta in this marinade, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  • Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least a few hours, or ideally, overnight. This allows the flavors to infuse into the Pancetta.

Option 2: Lemon, Salt, and Pepper Seasoning

  • Another quick and simple option is to season the Pancetta with fresh lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Squeeze the juice from a whole lemon onto the Pancetta, then season both sides with salt and pepper to your liking.

Once your Airfryer is preheated and your Pancetta is marinated or seasoned, follow these steps:

  • Place the Pancetta slices in the Airfryer basket, ensuring they are spread out evenly and not overlapping to allow proper air circulation.
  • Set the temperature to 356 ºF and the timer for 35 minutes.
  • Check on the Pancetta at the halfway mark (around 17–18 minutes) and flip the slices if needed to ensure even cooking. This step helps achieve a uniformly crispy texture.
  • Continue cooking until the time is up or until the Pancetta reaches your desired level of crispiness. If you prefer it less crispy, you can reduce the cooking time slightly.
  • Once done, carefully remove the Pancetta from the Airfryer and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
